2010 Australian PGA champion Peter Senior had a fantastic year on the US Champions Tour achieving everything but a victory.

The 52-year-old notched three runner-up finishes and 12 top 10 results in 22 starts and a recent wrap-up of the season's statistics shows why.

The US Tour web site listed a breakdown of various statistical categories to wrap up the season last week and Senior shared top honours with Mark Calcavecchia for most rounds in the 60s.

Both players broke 70 a total of 43 times during the year, Calcavecchia finishing second on the money list with Senior seventh.

Senior also led the scrambling category, missing 311 greens for the year but getting up and down 215 times.

Those skills will be on show again this week at the JBWere Masters which tees off at the Victoria Golf Club on Thursday.
